Wynsum Antiques and Interiors Expands to Mount Pleasant with Grand Opening Celebration

Mount Pleasant, S.C. — Wynsum Antiques and Interiors, a well-regarded name in Charleston’s antique market, marked the opening of its second location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 13. The new store is located at 903 Houston Northcutt Boulevard in Mount Pleasant.

The event was led by Rebbeca Imholz, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, and attended by members of the Mount Pleasant Town Council, Chamber Ambassadors, and other local officials, highlighting the business’s growing presence in the Lowcountry community.

Owner and architect John Palmer, who opened the original Wynsum store in downtown Charleston in 2017 at 648 King Street, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion. “For eight years, Wynsum Downtown has offered patrons fine antiques such as early European and American furniture, elegant lighting, paintings from old masters, contemporary works by living artists and everything in between,” said Palmer.

The Mount Pleasant location continues that tradition, offering a carefully curated selection of antiques and interior design pieces. The new showroom features a mix of modern and traditional artwork, decorative furnishings, distinctive gifts, estate jewelry, silver, fine rugs, and garden décor.

Wynsum’s second location aims to attract interior designers, collectors, and shoppers looking for unique, high-quality pieces, strengthening its role as a destination for fine antiques and interiors in the Charleston area.
