Plume, a vintage retailer based at 3001 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., is set to present its third annual The Fly Away curated vintage market in collaboration with the Milwaukee Public Market.
The free event will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Riverwalk Commons, located at 423 N. Water St. in downtown Milwaukee.
The market will feature 20 carefully selected vendors offering vintage clothing for both women and men, along with home goods and art. Participants will include sellers from Milwaukee, as well as from Minneapolis, Chicago, and Kalamazoo, showcasing a regional mix of vintage excellence.
Beyond shopping, attendees can enjoy live electronica from DJ Asher Gray and guest performers, tarot readings courtesy of Temple of Heka, and tintype photography sessions by artist Margaret Muza. Additional attractions and guest features are also planned.
Seasonally inspired cocktails and beverages will be served from the Milwaukee Public Market’s on-site shipping container bar. Visitors will also have access to a diverse array of dining options located just across the street within the market itself.
“We’re proud to share our passion for vintage and summer culture with Milwaukee at such a dynamic riverside venue,” said Plume owner Maggie Solveson. “It’s an opportunity to support small businesses while expanding our reach through this partnership with the Milwaukee Public Market.”
Plume, known for its long-standing collaborations with local brands, will continue to reveal vendor announcements in the lead-up to the event via its Instagram account.
