MANTORVILLE, Minn. (ABC 6 News) — Memorabilia Antiques, a longstanding fixture in Mantorville, is celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking half a century of connecting visitors with treasures from the past.
The store, owned and operated by Paul Larsen, has become more than just a retail space—it’s a cornerstone of the community and a haven for collectors and history enthusiasts alike.
Larsen, who has overseen the store’s operations since its early days, expressed both pride and disbelief at the milestone. “I’ve become part of a community,” he said. “It’s just kind of hard to believe that it’s been this long. I don’t feel like I’m this old to have done this, but I’m proud of what we have here.”
Beyond curating a wide array of antiques, Larsen finds joy in examining new arrivals and engaging with visitors from near and far who stop by the shop.
Memorabilia Antiques is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
