DENHAM SPRINGS — The heart of downtown Denham Springs was bustling with activity on Saturday as families and vendors gathered for the town’s annual antique festival. The event, a local favorite, featured a diverse range of attractions, including antique shops, carnival rides, food stalls, live music, and art exhibits.
“This year’s festival has been fantastic, with something for everyone,” said Donna Jennings, the city’s Grant Administrator. “We’ve got everything from A to Z, and it’s been a wonderful experience.”
A highlight of this year’s festival was the inclusion of model trains, a nod to the town’s historic roots. According to Jennings, the trains are a tribute to Denham Springs’ past, reflecting a piece of the town’s rich history.
“This year, we’ve got some great music, and there’s always something new to look forward to,” Jennings added, emphasizing the festival’s evolving nature.
The Antique Village, which organizes the event, reported that more than 150 vendors participated this year. The festival, which is one of two held annually by the village, continues to be a major attraction, drawing both locals and visitors alike.
