Expanded Antique Rug & Textile Show Set for October 2025 in San Francisco

by Cecily

The Antique Rug & Textile Show (ARTS) 2025 will return to San Francisco from October 24 to 26, hosted at the Motel Capri, located at 2015 Greenwich Street. The event will feature an international roster of antique rug and textile dealers and an expanded program that builds on the show’s longstanding tradition.

Now in its 17th year, ARTS has grown into a significant annual gathering for collectors and dealers of authentic antique rugs and ethnographic textiles. The 2025 edition will include a broader lineup of educational events, including an increased number of rug talks and the annual textile lecture, which will be delivered once again by noted textile expert John Gillow.

Organizer Ben Banayan confirmed that Paul Ramsey is assisting in coordinating this year’s expanded programming. Banayan also noted that the scope of the show may be broadened to include tribal and ethnographic arts dealers, signaling a potential shift in the event’s traditional focus to embrace a wider range of cultural artifacts.

The Antique Rug & Textile Show continues to serve as a key destination for enthusiasts and professionals interested in the history, artistry, and market of antique textiles and rugs.
